Ray Lane Has Solidified His Position As A Corporate Strategist


Corporate strategy is a fine art. Knowing how to manage a corporation to long term success is not something that everybody can do, despite what you might think. But Ray Lane has made a career off of helping corporations achieve their potential. With his unique innovations, he's been able to guide many different companies to long term success.

You just have to look at his history, and you can see that Ray Lane knows what he's talking about, when it comes to the technological industry. He first started his career at IBM, as a sales manager. Which really helped to teach him about how a technology company manages the market.

From there he landed a job at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) which was run at the time by Ross Perot. This was where Ray Lane really got the experience that would make a huge difference down the line. He was responsible for managing relationships with large manufacturers, and distributors. He was also responsible for operating the retail side of the business.

That taught Ray the corporate strategy that would become so important later on in his life. With that experience, he learned how the corporate markets react to technology. What helps technology flourish, and how you can manage your company to success in retail technology.

That experience also led him to becoming the CEO at Hewlett-Packard. A job which sees him still sitting on the Board of Directors to this day.

Now he focuses most of his time on executive consulting, as well as becoming an investor in technology himself. Ray Lane remains on the cutting edge, going so far as to help set up services like eLance, which changes the way people find work and professional opportunities online.


Remaining on the cutting edge is a huge part of staying relevant in the technological field. Ray Lane has managed to do that since the early days of Silicon Valley's success, so he must be doing something right.
